What does One Of A Kind Mean?

All Creations that are named One Of A Kind means they will only be made once by me due to the uniqueness of the gemstones used in the design. If you spotted a design you love you can fill in the contact form below the item to order or ask for more information. If an item is sold, you can explore other pieces in the “Made to order” section or reach out to me directly for a custom design crafted just for you.

What does Made To Order mean?

All other items beside the One Of A Kind items are handcrafted on a Made-To-Order basis. This means that each piece is meticulously handcrafted specifically for you, a process that typically takes approximately 2-3 weeks before shipment. This approach allows me to dedicate the necessary time and attention to ensure the creation of a unique jewelry piece tailored to each client's preferences. Moreover, this practice aligns with my commitment to environmental sustainability. By consolidating orders, materials can be efficiently procured and shipped together, minimizing waste and reducing our ecological footprint.

What about shipping?

When in stock, pieces will be shipped within aprox.2 days after your order is placed. When crafted specifically for you, the process untill shipping will take 3-6 weeks. Shipping itself will take up 3-5 days, costs will be communicated when ordering.

How to know my ring-size?

For those without a ring sizer tool, you can measure your ring size using a piece of string or a strip of paper and then compare the measurement to a ring size chart. However I recommend visiting any local jewelry shop for an accurate measurement.

Where do you make your jewellery?

All pieces are made by hand in my atelier at home in Kinrooi, Belgium.

How do I take care of my jewellery?

Proper care and maintenance are essential for preserving the beauty and longevity of your jewelry. Here are some key tips to help you keep your pieces looking their best:

  1. Cleaning: Regularly clean your jewelry to remove dirt, oils, and other residues. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently polish your pieces. A silver cloth may help too. For more thorough cleaning, use mild soapy water and a soft brush, making sure to rinse well and dry completely.

  2. Storage: Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place. Use a jewelry box with separate compartments to prevent pieces from scratching each other. For delicate items, consider wrapping them in soft cloth or tissue paper. Avoid exposing jewelry to extreme temperatures and humidity.

  3. Wear and Tear: Remove jewelry when engaging in activities that could cause damage, such as exercising, swimming, or doing household chores. Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, and hairsprays, as these can tarnish or corrode the materials.

Important Note: While proper care as stated above is essential, natural wear and tear is normal for jewelry and adds a unique charm to each piece over time.

What if my silver (non goldplated) jewellery piece oxidizes?

To care for silver jewelry that is not gold plated and susceptible to oxidation, regular maintenance is key. Keep your silver pieces stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. When not in use, store them in an airtight container or a jewelry box with anti-tarnish properties. To clean silver jewelry, gently polish it with a soft cloth specifically designed for silver cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that may scratch the surface. Overall, proper care and attention will maintain the lustrous shine of your silver jewelry for years to come.

Can I return my order?

All jewellery is made on size and in your preffered material. Therefore actual returns cannot be accepted. Adjusting your size when accidentaly chosen wrong is always possible. In this case, shipping costs are for the customer. If so, please contact me via e-mail and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
